New FlavourSpec®25: Remote Control of PAL3 Headspace sampler and instrument

G.A.S. learnt that laboratory personnel prefer using a remote/PC-control (instead of a handheld). QC-related routines further require full traceability of samples, applied methods and measurement files. The new PC-run ‘PAL Control‘ tool realized in the FlavourSpec®25 respects these operators‘ preference and QC-requirements

'PAL Control' communicates via TCP/IP with the autosampler and FlavourSpec®25 and by that makes it possible to transmit "sampling methods", control the sampling and integrate the parameters in the measurement files (MEA).

Methods edited by the user are transferred to the PAL and the processing of the sampling task (job) is monitored. Before injecting into the FlavourSpec®25, all parameters set by the user are transferred and integrated into the measurement files.

The ‘SequenceDesigner‘ program creates measurement sequences and monitors/controls the FlavourSpec®25, while individual programs can still be created directly on the device itself.
